Using our website and tools

Our website and our tools may be used within the scope of their intended functions.

Please use our offerings only lawfully and in a way that does not impair elbly or any other person or system.

In particular, it is not permitted to

  • use our offerings for unlawful purposes,
  • distribute malware or harmful content via our systems,
  • circumvent or impair security mechanisms,
  • deliberately overload our systems or disrupt their functionality,
  • infringe the rights of third parties.

You are generally responsible yourself for any content and data that you enter into a tool.

03

elbly Tools

We develop digital tools with one simple principle:

One task. One solution. No more. But no less either.

Our tools provide certain technical functions. They do not replace individual legal, tax, medical or other professional advice.

Insofar as special terms of use apply to an individual tool, we will point this out explicitly there.

elbly QR

elbly QR is currently still in development and is not yet publicly available.

Before release, we will add the special terms of use required for the tool to this section.

elbly Cam

elbly Cam is currently still in development and is not yet publicly available.

Before release, we will add the special terms of use required for the tool to this section.

04

Availability and further development

We aim to provide our offerings reliably. However, we cannot guarantee availability at all times, without interruption, or error-free.

We may develop further, change, extend or discontinue features of our website and our tools, provided this does not conflict with any contractual obligations.

Maintenance work, technical faults or events beyond our control may mean that individual features are temporarily unavailable.

05

Content and results of our tools

The results of our tools partly depend on the information and settings that you yourself enter or select.

Please check results before using them for important or business purposes.

To the extent permitted by law, we give no guarantee that automatically or technically generated results are suitable for any particular purpose you intend.

Statutory rights, in particular for paid products, remain unaffected.

06

Rights to the website, software and content

The website, the elbly design, software, graphics, texts, logos and other content created by elbly are legally protected.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, using our website or a tool does not grant you any rights to reproduce, distribute, modify or otherwise commercially exploit this content or the underlying software.

The intended use of our publicly available tools naturally remains permitted.

Additional licence terms may apply to individual products.

07

Third-party content and external links

Our website may contain links to websites or services of other providers.

We have no influence over their content or availability. The terms and privacy policies of the respective provider apply to external offerings.

If we become aware of unlawful content, we will review the relevant link and remove it if necessary.

08

Liability

We are liable for damages in accordance with statutory provisions in cases of intent and gross negligence, as well as for injury to life, body or health.

In cases of ordinary negligence, we are liable within the scope of the statutory requirements, in particular for breach of material contractual obligations. In such cases, liability is limited to the damage typically foreseeable, insofar as legally permissible.

Mandatory statutory liability provisions remain unaffected.

09

Changes to these terms of use

We may amend these terms of use if our website, our tools or the legal framework change.

For paid products or existing contractual relationships, changes only apply in accordance with the applicable statutory and contractual provisions.
