Data protection matters to us. And we like to keep it simple here too.
We only process personal data that we need in order to provide our website and our tools, or to respond to your enquiry. Nothing more.
Below we explain what personal data is processed when you use our website and our tools.

This data is processed in order to technically provide the website and to ensure its stability and security.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and functional operation of our website.
Insofar as our hosting provider processes personal data on our behalf, this is done on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
04Cookies and tracking
elbly currently does not use cookies for analytics, tracking or marketing purposes and does not use any corresponding analytics or advertising services.
Insofar as technically necessary information is processed to operate the website, this is done exclusively to provide the website securely and reliably.
05Contact by email
We deliberately do without a contact form. If you would like to get in touch with us, you can email us directly.
The email button offered on the website simply opens your email programme. Clicking the button does not transmit any form data to elbly.
If you send us an email, we process your email address and the information you provide in the message in order to handle your enquiry and reply to you.
Insofar as your enquiry is aimed at concluding or performing a contract, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In other cases, it is based on our legitimate interest in handling and responding to enquiries pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We store your message only for as long as is necessary to process it, or for as long as statutory retention obligations apply.
06elbly Tools
elbly develops various digital tools. The same principle applies here: personal data should only be processed insofar as this is genuinely necessary for the respective function.
Our tools are currently still in development and are not yet publicly available.
Before releasing a tool, we review the data processing that actually takes place and add the necessary product-specific information to this privacy notice.
In doing so, we only describe the data processing that actually takes place for the respective tool. The general provisions of this privacy notice also apply to our tools, unless something additional or different is stated for the respective tool.

We try to limit external services and the associated data transfers to what is necessary to operate our offerings.
08Data security
Our website is transmitted in encrypted form via HTTPS (SSL/TLS).
In addition, we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access and unauthorised alteration.

Insofar as we process personal data about you, you have, subject to the statutory requirements, in particular the following rights:
